This mural was done in my childhood mall so it was really kind of special to revisit and add art to this place that has been in my life for so long. It was done with acrylic and brushes since I couldn't use spray paint inside the mall. The client wanted a huge bee retrieving nectar from a flower and told me she was going to put a mirror up after for their customers to view their new tattoos. Since I know how to cut glass I suggested we cut honeycomb shaped mirrors and incorporate them into the design. She loved the idea so we did it and it came out really nice adding a whole new element to a mural, it actually kind of moves as the viewer moves creating an almost interactive aspect to it.
